Miracle and Testimony were joined at their bottom half on birth. Although they each had two legs they shared a bladder, pelvis and large intestine.

Separating twins is never easy but the doctors at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital worked tirelessly to care for these precious things and a carefully planned 18 hour operation meant the twins were finally separated.
