The private autopsy ordered by the family of Michael Brown indicates the young man was shot at least six times by the Ferguson, MO police officer, Darren Wilson.

The autopsy was conducted by Michael Baden, a high profile pathologist. You might remember his name from his testifying in the O.J. Simpson trial and Drew Peterson murder trial as well.

This is highly anticipated information the public has been waiting to learn because it should reveal a lot of what happened that faithful day the unarmed, black Michael Brown was shot and killed.

However, the information was not released by the families attorney, but information has been leaked and reported by the New York Times.

Turns out Michael Brown was shot six times with two of the bullets striking him in the head and four in the right arm. All six hits were fired into the front of Brown’s body. The shots in the arm lead some to speculate Brown had his hands up in the surrender position when he was shot.

One of the shots was to the top of the head, leading to speculation that he might have been on his knees, but definitely in a surrendering position.

The Ferguson police department has yet to release their autopsy report or the information on how many times Officer Wilson’s gun was discharged at the scene. This would let us know how many shots were fired and if any missed Mr. Brown.

Attorney General Eric Holder has indicated the Federal Government will be conducting their own independent autopsy of the body as well. This doesn’t happen very often that they federal government would get involved in an investigation of this manner, but with racial tensions peaked, the situation is tense and everyone wants to get to the truth.
