The world is hard at times and all the negativity can grind a person down, then a small slither of hope comes along and lights up the way again.

Love What Matters Facebook page shared a small story that nearly had me in tears.

Here is what they posted (see the picture below too).

“A couple of months ago, an elderly lady asked me to walk her home because she was scared she was going to slip on the ice. We’ve become friends and now I walk her home almost everyday.”
