If you are black you know you have to work 10 times as hard as your white counterparts just to be noticed. This year’s election proved that fact! Former President, Barack Obama graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law in 1991, he was a lawyer, a U.S. Senator and had an almost unblemished history.
He was perfect.
While Trump on other hand had absolutely no political experience, was sued for creating a fake university, had pending allegations of sexual assault, admitted to not paying taxes, talked publicly about grabbing women by the pussy, has made openly sexist and racist statements and vocabulary does not extend beyond “very big” and “huge” (which happen to have the same meaning). How does a person with such a pathetic resume become president on any planet?
With that being said, how did Joe Walsh come to the conclusion that the bar was lowered for President Barack Obama because he was black?
He directed this idiotic statement toward Angela Rye on his Twitter account and Rye was having none of it when they both appeared on CNN.
Rye explained that the opposite was true, that people of color are held to a higher standard and have to be twice as good just to measure up to white people. “I am tired of difference being disrespected and mistreated by this White House,” she said, and when Walsh tried to cut in, she said, “I’m not talking to bigots, Joe.
”
“I mean, it’s very frustrating and I’m tired of people telling me that black people are beneath a standard when we have to be twice as good all the time,” she said. “And that is why I said, I’m not interested in having a dialogue with someone like Joe who has demonstrated a propensity towards bigotry. And he did that on Twitter yesterday in 140 characters or less.”
Angela Rye set him straight and refused to listen to his nonsense:
