We’ve been spreading news about the missing D.C. girls, it’s something that seriously needs attention EVEN if they are “just runaways” as the police are claiming. Whatever the reason, a large amount of missing persons needs attention.
So, a townhall was held last week to try and work out how to move forward with this. This IS an important issue for the people of DC. However, photos of the meeting circulated and WELL…. why were there only black people present (apart from white press members)?
Here are some of the tweets from the twitterverse on this issue!
Photos from the D.C. town hall meeting about DC's missing girls this morning. A room full of African-Americans but #AllLivesMatter right? pic.twitter.com/OjHWGQTyTd

This is the DC town hall for missing kids in SE. You can see there's barely any standing room left. (@wusa9) pic.twitter.com/TZfKzC3vUp

White women's attitude (if I can generalize for a second) towards black women is evident as seen by their silence on these missing girls.
