A lot can be said about Donald Trump becoming the POTUS. Some feel as though he is going to send the United States to hell. Others feel that racism will now be at an all time high (but name a time period where it hasn’t been). Most people believe that he will take away civil rights and build walls and etc. Well, I guess time will tell. However, Donald Trump has said some things about black people and our conditions that are not necessarily lies.

Donald Trump stated while running his campaign that the Democratic party has done nothing to help black people, what do we have to lose with voting for him. Well, hell he is right. The democratic party has not done one thing for us as an collective, yet they have majority of our vote. How? Because they always sell the Republican party as the villain.

Now the POTUS is saying he is going to do more for black people than the black church has every done. Well, considering the black church collects millions of dollars every year, where is the infrastructure? Where is the housing? Where are the black businesses that hire black people?

You can hate the POTUS as much as you want, but sometimes he says things that are true about our circumstances. The reality of the situation is that we have to stop looking for a savior and do for self. There is no POTUS that can save us. There is no church that can save us. We must organize and save ourselves. I love you. Peace
