As Obama was giving his teary farewell speech in Chicago, the place where it all started, people had one repeating question! Where on earth was Sasha? The rest of the family were there but she was nowhere to be seen!

As Obama talked of his family, saying:

“Malia and Sasha,”

“Under the strangest of circumstances you have become two amazing young women. You are smart and you are beautiful. But more importantly, you are kind and you are thoughtful and you are full of passion. And you wore the burden of years in the spotlight so easily. Of all that I have done in my life, I am most proud to be your dad.”

But the cameras showed Michelle and Malia but no Sasha!

Where was Sasha? WH Official says she stayed back in DC tonight because she has an exam at school tomorrow morning.

Sasha is currently a student at Washington, D.C.’s Sidwell Friends School.

You can talk about Obama as President in many ways but as a parent this family have shinned. They seem to be keeping their kids levelled and on the way out of this big house it’s just another example of how important education is to this family and sets a great example.
