I just watched this video that’s been going a little viral filmed at Rolesville High School in North Carolina.

15-year-old Jasmine Darwin was slammed very hard to the floor by Officer De Los Santos and it was caught on video.

Jasmine was limp after the slam.

The incident was said to have erupted after a fight broke out between two girls (of which there are videos too). Some witnesses have said that Jasmine was involved but only by trying to break the fight up.

The officer is on administrative leave and some have come to his support, such as Aisha Nasser who told ABC 11,

“He’s one of the kindest officers I’ve ever come across,” said Nasser. “Seeing the whole situation first hand it was out of control and he was just trying to gain control of the situation and I know it wasn’t his intention to hurt that girl.”

However, intention or not, that slam was way out of control and he needs to face the courts.
