Ron Glass has been a prolific actor since the early 70s. Most known for his role in sitcom ‘Barney Miller’ and more recently in ‘Firefly’ the actor popped up in so many other places, from ‘Hawaii Five-O’ to ‘All In The Family’ and very recently ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’.

1975’s Barney Miller highlighted his carer, he played a well put together ambitious man, fiercely intellectual, the role earned him an Emmy in 1982.

At this point the actor, who was born in Evansville, Ind., was confirmed to have passed by his rep.

However the reasons and cirumstances are not yet known.

We want to give respect and space to his family but also pass our condolences.

He was loved for the work he did.
