36-year-old heketha Holman was shocked twice by police in Harris County. She is in a wheelchair and the incident happened after she started recording deputies who were arresting her daughter at a gas station.
She was tased once whilst on the ground, while cuffed and once when still in the chair, the officers also knocked her out of that and threw her smartphone.
The department is apparently investigating it’s own officers use of force!
After throwing her phone into the car that she came in they tried to get her hands, she resisted.
She told KTRK that the officer “was like, ‘Oh, she don’t want to follow directions, she’s resisting, I’m gonna Taser you!’”
She was also charged with trespassing, resisting arrest, and was held at Harris County Jail for three days.
She went onto say:
“It’s bad what happened to me and whatever, but I feel like once the word is out, then they won’t be so quick to attack people like that,”
Surveillance footage caught the event.
