A cop has been fired for a racist Michelle Obama post and while this is of course the right course of action for someone who is supposed to be serving and protecting all citizens it just makes me shake my head.

Cops have been killing left, right and center, and yet almost none of them actually lose the badge, the pension, etc etc. Some end up on desk duty but quite comfy for their career.

However, it seems, put up a racist meme on Facebook and THAT’S IT, out the door! Seriously, WTF!

So what happened?

News station WBRC reported that a Talladega Police Officer named Joel Husk was fired earlier this week.

He posted a racist meme.

The meme said that Melania Trump had fluency in “Solvenian, English, French, Serbian, and German,” but that Michelle Obama is only fluent in “ghetto.

”

Talladega City Manager Patrick Bryant said:

“We will not tolerate that kind of conduct by any employees,”

“We take very seriously our responsibility to treat everyone equally and equitably. We have to make sure we take steps for the community to trust us.”
