In a recent interview, Floyd Mayweather Jr. explained why he thinks “All Lives Matter” and gave opinion on Colin Kaepernick protesting the National Anthem.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. has shown us why some people should just focus on their jobs but since he’s retired maybe he should get a hobby and keep his uneducated opinions to himself. He said Kaepernick should his time focusing on getting the “starting job” instead of protesting. But what is he clearly doesn’t know is that’s the problem in this country too many people remaining silent when they see others mistreated. He’s basically saying that making money and being a star is more important than people’s lives. Rich people need not worry about poor people’s problems.
While speaking with the “The Boxing Voice” Mayweather said, “I’m here to say all lives matter. A lot of times we get stuck, and we are followers. You hear one person say, ‘Black lives matter’ or ‘blue lives matter’… all lives matter.” So those of us that are saying “Black Lives Matter” protestors and advocates are followers. Not people tired of seeing those paid to protect and serve us, shot first and ask questions later.
He continued to show us the mindset of delusional wealth with this statement: “What I learned from boxing — what everyone can take in real life — is follow directions and follow order. Don’t give nobody a hard time. When someone break in your house, when someone break in your car, the first thing you do is call the police. With me being a fighter, and my hands being registered, if I hit a guy for breaking in my house or break in my car, it’s going to cost me more money. So I have to work smarter not harder. I’m gonna call the cops. It’s not right what’s going on within this world on both sides. I think we need to communicate better, we need follow direction. It’s rules and regulations to everything,” Mayweather said.
I guess he missed the footage of the men complying and still being murdered. Mayweather is so far removed from reality it’s sad. But thank you sir we will continue to do as we’re told in hopes of making it home to our families.
He also added that he respects Kaepernick because he has the bestselling jersey. Again proving that the wealth gap is blinding for some.
