There are a lot of ways to deal with racism and messed up policy. For one woman, her new job brought in sexist dress code policies that were turned racist after her boss caused her some hassle.

So, she fought back and now her fight is going viral and bringing to light the absolute nonsense she has had to endure.

June J Rivas had complaints from her boss about wearing her hair in a ponytail after she started working. Pigtails were a problem too and when she contested and filed harassment complaint based on the fact that her contract did not details a dress code the boss laid down some rules, turning this whole affair racist.

She says his new memo said “We now have a dress code,” and that “No any of above, plus no straps, hats, sandals, cleavage, lace, and even (and I quote) ‘cultural head wraps.'”

It seems that was directly levelled at Rivas who used to wear a smart head wrap, as you can see in the image below.

She looks beautiful, smart and appropriate!

Anyway, Rivas has “reported her boss to the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and while they investigate” according to an article in Mic (http://bit.ly/2atC2vy).
