Umar Johnson, the self proclaimed “Prince of Pan-Africanism”, appeared on the popular radio show The Breakfast Club for the second time yesterday. Focal points of the interview surrounded how Black America has fared during Obama’s presidency, police violence against civilians, the continued economic marginalization of black people, and solutions based on empowering black communities today.
Johnson explains his opposition to the notion that President Obama has helped black youth, particularly by opening the doors of The White House to disadvantaged youth.
