1822 – House Slaves Betray Denmark Vesey Revolt
House slave betrayed Denmark Vesey conspiracy. Vesey conspiracy, one of the most elaborate slave plots on record, involved thousands of Blacks in Charleston, SC, and vicinity. Thirty seven Blacks were hung as a result.
The coward who told on Vesey and his plans wasn’t remembered in history, but his damning actions will forever be accounted and may his soul rest in hell for what he or she may did.
1902 – Theodore Monroe Andrew, “Stepin Fetchit”, actor, born.
1903 – Countee Cullen, poet, born.

Our history has a long, glorious and bright light that has shown since the dawn of time. However, it has long been hidden from us as if we were blind.
Now is the time to come together and consciously grow our understanding of our ancestors, culture, history and place in this world. The only way we can do this tie the knot of our past with our present to create the future we all desire.
