While Republicans might be complaining of the tough economic times during Obama era, the U.S. debt deficit has shrank by more than $1 trillion in the last 8 years under the leadership of President Barack Obama. This might be bad news for Republicans who believe that the president has done “the worst” when dealing with the economic issues. They have been misleading the public in terrible way.

The wall street journal expressed their fears that the Democrats and President Obama were failing to address this issues of a “sky rocketing” deficit. In the President’s address, he attributed this to strong growth in the individual’s tax collection over the last 5 years. The deficit has dropped from 9.8% to 2.5% the lowest it’s been in half a century.

Not one Republican has spoken up and said they were wrong or congratulated the President on a job well done. We won’t hold our breath. The Republicans will have you believe that President Obama is incapable of running this country but if you take a look at his record he has done better than our last two presidents. If they won’t give credit where credit is due then we will. Great job President Obama the next President will have big shoes to fill.
