Samuel L. Jackson is an American actor born in Washington D.C on December 21, 1948. He graduated from Morehouse college in the year of 1972, and went on to do short skits at local theaters. Overall, the films he has been in have produced a revenue of over $7.4 billion so far, wow!
Since his first movie in 1991, he has made over 100 movies. Jackson started out with his interest of theater fairly early, at the age of 10 due to the fact that he witnessed an emotionally powerful movie. Around 1976, he became tired of doing skits, and he moved to Harlem, New York in order to pursue a real acting career.
In 1994, he became the voice of Jules Winnfield in pulup fiction; this was a huge role for him, a part which most actors couldn’t get, and he pulled it off in the brilliant manner he always does. In 2011, he went down in history by being on the Guinness Book of World Record by being the highest grossing movie actor of all time.
He won the BAFTA Film Award for best actor in a supporting role, which was due to the film Pulp Fiction. He won the Black Film Actor award in 1998 for best actor in a movie called Eve’s Bayou as well. In 2005, Jackson won the BET comedy awards for the Best Performance in an Animated film, for being the voice of Frozone in the popular animated motion picture “The Incredibles”.
In 2006, Samuel L. Jackson won the Bambi awards for international films, which consisted of two movies: Snakes on a Plane, and Freedomland. Those are only some, but definitely far from all of his achievements. Along with the awards he actually won, he was nominated for many more and has been a really hard worker in the actor community, and it paid off for sure seeing how much money he’s stacking.
