This story is so awesome! Basically a group of volunteers and organisations made a gourmet op-up kitchen and fed awesome food in a homeless area.
@blkcelebgiving hosted the first of what I know will be many #SundaySoulATL pop-up restaurants aka the #SoulKitchen! We literally popped up in a known homeless community and set up a restaurant complete with fresh flowers, linens, menus, heaters, a fire pit, music and of course food. We had so many volunteers and everyone pitched in to make this be an event those we served were so grateful for. We provided a 5 course meal, our guests had the chance to sit down, order from the menu and never lift a finger. We had two seatings and it was just a blessing to witness. Tonight’s menu prepared my @lovingly_makeup and I included carved Prime Rib with Au-jus, Shrimp Scampi, Lemon-Pepper Honey wings, Baked Sea- Bass and a Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Chicken breast, plus soup, salad, desserts and tons of side options. We also had blankets from @atouchofwarmth and full size toiletries from @briteyes1!” Jasmine Crowe
