Clinton, along with Saunders and Martin O’Malley sat onstage Monday night at the Iowa Brown & Black Forum. When a student got up to ask Clinton a question her answer was maybe less than satisfactory.

She was asked to speak of her white privilege and what advantages and opportunities it had given her in life.

Her answer was jumbled and not well prepared. She spoke of how she felt lucky, how she realised immigrant kids were different (when she was 11) and of her economical privilege too. Really she fluffed up the answer and the student ended up sayings “Seriously?”

The question was dubbed the question of the night!
