Let me first state that I love feel good stories like this. Most people wonder why they are unsuccessful. Let me be the first to say that through experience, I can assure you that there are no shortcuts to success. Secondly, perseverance is needed in order to get what you want. On the way to your goal, many people will tell you NO. They will shut the door in your face (especially when it was an opportunity that you needed).

However, it is at this point that you must believe 100% in yourself and not give up on your dream. You cannot quit because the road got rough. Put your head down and drive through it. Why is this important? Because newly sign NFL player Joe Anderson did this. He had dreams of playing in the NFL but all the teams thought he wasn’t good enough. At this point he could have quit. Six weeks ago, Joe Anderson stood outside the Houston Texans facility trying to get a job. Today, he was signed to the New York Jets practice squad. Lets congratulate this young man for following his dreams.
