If you have access to any type of media outlet, tv, iPad, and etc, then I’m pretty sure you know who Batman is. We all grew up watching his cartoons and movies. But something is starting to change with the narrative of cartoons. Or maybe it is I’m just noticing it. But cartoons are starting to reflect real life and seen subliminal messages as well. This actually can be a good thing.
In a new Batman cartoon, Batman is shown saving a black kid’s life by preventing the police from shooting him. Batman bust on the scene as the cops have their guns drawn on the black kid. Batman then proceeds to whipping the police a$$ as the black kid flees the scene. If you take the Batman part out, this sounds all too familiar, right? Since Batman saved the kid’s life, the police are now after Batman because he thinks he is above the law. Again, it is quite interesting how art imitates life.
