Jill Scott is definitely one of my all time favorite artist. Her confidence, size, beauty, voice and consciousness makes her beautiful inside and out.
On this addition of the Breakfast Club radio show, she addresses revolution, but begins by talking about the reality of black men being needed, prisons being built and schools being tore down.
She goes on to speak on how we need to stop broadcasting our every move, get with a small group to plan, organize, then start bringing in people of action to assist.
The clip is less than 2 minutes long, but her words are powerful, insightful and hopefully will start an interesting debate in the community about how we should proceed.
