The death while in police custody of Sandra Bland has captivated the communities attention. Bland was the young woman pulled over for a minor traffic infraction, ordered from her car, roughed up by the officer, arrested, then was found dead hanging in her jail cell three days later.
Today, the Waller County District Attorney is expected to release the autopsy results for Bland. The expectation is the autopsy will confirm the suicide death by hanging of the police.
From Click 2 Houston:
[ADSENSE2] Diepraam said the medical examiner viewed Bland’s eyelids, eyeballs and overall face. There were no injuries consistent with struggle. There was, however, a bruise on Bland’s neck consistent with suicide. Had it been a violent struggle, the mark would not have been consistent or uniform.
During a violent struggle, the pathologist explained one would see hemorraging in the neck and trachea area. There were no injuries indicating a violent struggle.
CALL IN THE FEDS!
Things just don’t smell right surrounding this case and a major cover up seems to be in order. We would love to get to the bottom and find out the truth. And the only way this is going to happen is to get an independent, federal investigation into the police department, officers, and the organization that did the autopsy.
The community doesn’t believe the findings and want to find out exactly what happened to the young lady in Texas during her three day ordeal with police officers.
