Method Man of the legendary hip hop group the Wu-Tang Clan made waves over the internet this month. Speaking on his disdain for websites like WorldStar Hip Hop, Bossip and even talk show host Wendy Williams, people are talking about the truth he speaks.

Method Man voiced his displeasure for websites like WorldStar that seem to glorify the negative in the black and hip hop community. In fact, he said he hates how they conduct their business and make their money off the backs of others only choosing to focus on the negative.

He mention the popular black website has nothing to do with hip hop and only focuses on negative. According to Method, they never post positive information or news stories on the website. He spoke about buying uniforms for his son’s football team and that never making it to the website, but as soon as he spit in the air and it landed on himself it was plastered all over and people were commenting.

Many in the black community echo Method Man’s frustration with the ratchet based websites and people that love to focus on topics that don’t advance our community or show us in a positive light.
