UI MEME OF THE DAY, A DAILY SERIES…
Today’s Meme is a actually a WishList.
A young man, Y’Mahel, put out a YouTube video with a cast of characters in it called KING DAVID.
This cast is more True Life when it comes to the Bible stories and allegories. And he placed it along with the Tamela Mann gospel hit “Take Me to the King” for the movie’s opening soundtrack. (See The Video below:)
Their latest white-laced movie called Exodus (Note: No Egyptians or Hebrews were white on origin. These are their written communications taken from them and translated into Latin and English) – that movie has nothing on this Brotha’s well-chosen cast of characters for this more historically authentic and affirmative story about one of the greatest kings who ever lived.
Tyler Perry, rather than messing around with Scandals and scandalous Black-ish folks who think they are smarter than they are, would do well to take his “Christian Mindset” and learn a lesson from this brother about the kinds of movies that more highly intellectual Black people would prefer to see. His own background and history demands that he stick with what he started.
Perry thinks Oprah is his “role model” for becoming the first Black billionaire movie director, but it wasn’t Oprah that helped him to become a millionaire in the first place. It was us “tired Black women” who were writing diaries and letters to God when no one else was paying attention to us Black women but Him, and him, and other Black women writers and authors, feminist and non-feminist alike.
TP Productions really really should get back on his A-game and use those writing, directing and producing skills for what God meant for them to be used for, and that was not for getting with Oprah to ridicule upscale Black folks with wads of money acting like they are above it all. These characters are really nothing more than white-acting weaved-out street trash with overly pricey “label-ho” clothing on.
As to the constant “slave and servant” movies … you already know what we think of all that, but they don’t HURT us. We need to keep that part of our history so that we never allow it to happen ever again, but that isn’t all there is to Black history in the world.
As to the consistent “ho-and-pimp” crime movies, all that does is remind us of the destruction of our people through the guns and gangsters and bombings and thugs and drugs and alcoholism created by white-skinned pirating Europeans and their wenches in order to effect our psychological and physical devastation as a people. They were the original perpetrators of this violence that we are seeing now. That doesn’t mean Black people had to come under its subjection for all of these past few centuries, but that is a back-story that is best told by the writers whose works were taken and translated into a “Bible.”
I’d bet Perry could become a billionaire on this kind of movie stuff without Oprah’s help. Lion’s gate it and code it Black, man.
These usurpers and thieves of Black world history are starting to look thoroughly ridiculous in all of that African and Far Eastern/Asiatic garb that wasn’t made by them or for them.
Tyler Perry, John Singleton, Spike Lee, Oprah Winfrey, and all of the others in like company and kindred have MORE than an opportunity here to make it right and tight for Black America, and to make a bigger blockbuster than TITANIC, which movie, by the way, did leave off the fact that there were Black people on that Mother of All Ships, whether they liked it or not.
Mr. Perry now has a son, and though we haven’t seen pictures of him yet, we are certain that he looks far more like King David than any of these white boys ever will.
