We have been working on building our own platform to continue the growth and bonding with our base in the black community. Facebook has been great building this base and reaching out to many of you, but it is time to create our own instead of renting someone else’s.
History has proven on Facebook, they will change their procedures and practices to benefit them, while reducing the impact users can do on their site.
The time is for us to create our own platform to community with the black community and build the bonds, discussions and information that leads to action. We need our own social network.
We have been working on just that. It isn’t meant to replace Facebook, Twitter or any other social network. The aim is to create one we can come together on to reach our niche of people.
Connect to what is happening in the black community, discuss things impacting our community with each other, and inform one another by sharing information, knowledge and experiences.
All of this can be done with the new UI Nation.
The platform is in beta, so please don’t share with anyone.
Join the website, move around and get use to it. As members, we figure it is only right we share what is happening inside the organization and get your feed back on this project.

There is a feed wall on the homepage. There are groups, forums, members have their own pages, you can upload photos and more.
Still working out the glitches. One of the biggest we are working on is you cannot upload a profile pic. We will solve this issue, but wanted to get a few of you involved on the site to get your feedback and start building with you.
