We all miss Chris Rock doing standup, it’s been 9 long years BUT he just announced that the wait is over and he is back!

Hot off the heals of his Netflix specials deal he announced on 5th december that he is off on a world comedy tour starting early next year!

On Facebook live he made his way through the LA Comedy Store, talked about the amazing people who have performed there from Richard Pryor to Eddie Murphy to Martin Lawrence.

AND he announced the tour! Watch the video below:

“The ‘Total Blackout’ tour is coming to your town in 2017,” he says. “First time in nine years, okay? Haven’t done it in a while. Been a little busy, You know, writing ‘Pootie Tang 3’ and everything. But hey, it’s time, okay.”

“I’ve got all new material,” he added. “I can’t wait to see you b*****s!”

The tour starts on Valentines Day in Durham, N.C. It will end on June 3rd in Atlantic City, N.J. It will go through USA and Canada (not quite world but probably more dates are coming).

Part of the tour will be filmed as part of the $40 million Netflix deal.
