Lawmaker, Representative David Moore of Montana, proclaims “yoga pants should be illegal in public anyway.” In response to a group of nude bicyclists participating in last year’s Bare as You Dare bicycle challenge, Moore introduced House Bill 365 seeking to strengthen the state’s indecent exposure laws.

The prospective law will expand the definition of indecent exposure to include nipple exposure, tight fitting beige clothing, and garments that “gives the appearance or simulates” one’s buttocks.

Under current laws in Montana, an individual can be sentenced to life inprisonment and a fine of $10,000 if convicted of indecent exposure three times. Rep. Moore’s bill does not change this but limits the sentence to a maximum of 5 years for each offense.
