Martin Lawrence net worth has grown pretty large over the years that the now veteran actor has been lighting up TV and movie screens.
Starting out in stand up comedy he moved into acting and through the first half of the 90s (92-97) he was seen on screen in his own written and acted show “Martin” (sadly his co-star Tommy Ford has just recently passed away). Considering his salary for the show back then was just $100,000 he wasn’t exactly firing with the big hitters at that point.
That was until he was cast in a little movie called Bad Boys, in 1995. He played detective Marcus Burnett alongside another fairly successful actor Will Smith!
Bad Boys changed the game for Martin and when he returned in 2003 for Bad Boys II he was getting up to $20 million per movie.
Big Momma’s House and it’s sequels have also been racking up the green backs for the actor, success after success and no doubt years of holiday reruns is keeping him padded.
All this despite some breaks from acting, some issues with erratic behaviour including wearing tons of clothes and running in100degree heat, going into violent rages and his non scripted monologue on Saturday Night Live that led to him being the only person banned from the show for life!
Many would like to see Martin treading the boards again, doing standup, something he clearly has talent for. However, in 2018 and 2019 he is returning to another of his biggest successes with “Bad Boys for Life” and then a currently un-named 4th instalment of the series according to IMDB. Will Smith also returns for both.
So how much has all this made Martin Lawrence worth? A lot….
Martin Lawrence Net Worth?…
m from Blue Streak, m from Bad Boys II, god only knows how much from Big Mamma’s House, it has all added up!
According to various sources, he is worth a staggering $110 million.
Holy cow! That’s a lot of cash. And with being back in action and the new Bad Boys he may well be getting close to doubling that soon!
