The 2016 Miss USA Deshauna Barber is a twenty-six-year-old military officer.
Deshauna held from the District of Columbia was honorably crowned in a moment of glory and surprise as the new Miss USA based on the great answer she gave when asked about women role in combat. Deshauna maintained that women are as tough as men when handling military assignments and tasks.
The newly crowned Miss USA also mentioned that she is dedicated, powerful and fit to operate like men military officers. In the United States, gender is not a blockage or limitation to participating in military activity.
Deshauna, who won the new Miss USA competition, will move on to rattle with the Miss Universe. In the history of America, Deshauna remains the first-ever military officer to win the competition.
The newly crowned Miss USA also mentioned that she will like to be away from the Army Reserves in the main time. She has discussed the issue with senior officers about her absence for a gamut of years if the title is finally on her side. Currently, Deshuana serves the military twice in a month.
