Majority of the time, when we think of hip-hop news, we think of things that we could care less about such as Kanye and Kim Kardashian baby’s name or the beef between Meek Mill and Drake. Hell, some of the men out there are still googling Nick Minaj’s butt. But hey, who am I to judge. However, what I do know is that hip-hop never get the coverage it deserves when it does something positive. And this seems to be on a regular basis now. This is where Urban Intellectuals come in.

Rapper 2 Chainz has decided to pay a black disabled vet’s rent for a year and also furnish her place of residence. She is overcome with joy because she truly needed this blessing. Rapper 2 Chainz stated he remember nights of being hungry, stealing electricity and even steal clothes. Therefore he hasn’t forgot about his people. I will like to say job well done young man. More rappers and even those youngins in our community need to see you doing this. Hip-hop is not all about going to King of Diamonds and f*cking up some commas.
