(KTVI) – Jaylen Bledsoe is a 15-year-old sophomore at Hazelwood West High School who started his own tech company that is now worth $3.5 million in just three years. Jaylen sat down with John Pertzborn to explain how he starting building a company when he was only 12.
He plans to attend Harvard after he graduates from high school and will be a presenter for a local youth entrepreneurship nonprofit Independent Youth at their annual TrepStart Day in September, as well as being a national speaker for the organization.

In addition, he has also received the “Gateway Young Achiever of the Year” and selected as the 2nd place winner for the Missouri Parent Teachers Association “Diversity” contest. He is an active member of Wyman Teen Leadership Program, MICDS’ Young Republicans Club and has sat on the board at the National Youth Rights Association, serving as Treasurer of the Board.
Education
Jaylen currently attends Mary Institute & St. Louis Country Day School, also known as “Country Day” in Ladue, Missouri. He plans to attend Harvard University, double majoring in Business Administration and Computer Science.
