About 100 Eighth Grade Students Refused to take Picture with Speaker of the House

This pictures shows a happy group of students in a picture with Speaker of the House Paul Ryan.

What it doesn’t show is the 100 students who refused to take a picture with him. It is absolutely amazing how “woke” these 8th graders are.

Understandably student Matthew Malespina, and many of his classmates,  refused to take a picture with a man who put his party over his country.

“It’s not just a picture,” Malespina told ABC News. “It’s beingassociated with a person who puts his party before his country.”

I really do not believe that as an 8th grader I would have been aware enough to make such a concious decision. Many students expressed their disappointment in the current Repubican party and want no parts of it.

Of course their were those who found it disrespectful. But it’s funny how supporters of this Republican party find, the expression of American rights and freedoms disrespectful. Just like any other American these children have freedom of speech and don’t have to pose in pictures with people who don’t have their best interest at heart.

Keep up to date with everything going on in the Urban Intellectuals Universe.
