Many fellow althletes and celebs are standing by the side of Colin Kaepernick and his protest not to stand during the national anthem, something he plans to continue to do.
One of the ongoing criticisms is that his protest disrespects veterans and those serving in the military.
Well….. It seems that Kaepernick’s storm continues and he has gained some support from unexpected places.
August 30th saw the emergence of a new hashtag on Twitter as many black men and women veterans and family of veterans took to Twitter to voice support with the hashtag #VeteransForKaepernick!
