Why Did Marshawn “Beast Mode” Lynch Give $500 To A 17-Year Old McDonalds Employee?

Every young McDs employee will be begging for “Beast Mode” Marshawn Lynch to walk in on their shift after his latest act of kindness!

Terrance Downs was mopping at the McDonalds in Dallas where he works when the Seahawks running back struck up a conversation with him. Beast was wearing navy blue buscemis and Downs told TMZ Sports that he liked the shoes and wanted to buy a pair. Lynch kept the chat going asking him about school and what he wanted to do when he was older. Downs said he wanted to open up a boutique as he was into fashion.

Then Beast did something no one would expect. He gave Downs $500 and told him “If you’re serious about getting those shoes, here’s some money to help you get ’em. My job is to continue to see you grow.”

When asked for comment the Mcdonalds store said that the NFL star left a huge impact on their young worker.

Downs now says he is even more determined to become successful and maybe he can do the same for someone else one day.

Of course the shoes he wants may be a while off yet as they can retail for around $900 – $1000!

Lynch is known for his community involvement and Wikipedia says “Lynch is also known for his frequent community involvement. In 2013 he was featured in Red Bull’s campaign “Athletes Give Back” when he put together a very successful food drive for his home town.”, just one of the many things he has been a part of.
