Chicago has been a hot topic for the black community for the past couple of years. It has been dubbed as “Chi-Raq”. Chicago has been dealing with police brutality as officers have been murdering black boys for no apparent reason. If this wasn’t enough, gangs are murdering each other left and right as if it is a competition. Chicago is probably the most dangerous place in the country.

Steve Harvey decided to use his platform to allow families who have lost their children to speak about these issues. All I can say is WOW. We all know that it is hurtful to lose a loved one. But to see these mothers speak about losing their sons to senseless violence is chilling. Could you imagine burying your child due to the police (the people you pay with your tax dollars) murdering your child or due to gang violence?
