Snoop Hands Out 1500 Turkeys To Familes, Where and Why???

No artist wants to be associated with turkeys unless that is concerning actual turkeys and holiday good cheer! Snoop Dogg took to the place he calls his second home to hand out 1500 turkeys so that local families could put a bird on their table for the Thanksgiving holiday dinner.

Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. (Yeah, that’s Snoop’s actual name) holds his production crew is headquartered in Inglewood, California. He calls the place his second home and feels very much a part of the local community.

Last year he took to the town to hand out around 800 Turkeys and this year in typical Snoop style he wanted to one up his holiday cheer and massively outdone himself!

On 19th November Snoop went downtown again and helped hand out around 1500 birds, many likely went to families in need.

NBC4 News reported that Inglewood Mayor James Butts said:

“Snoop Dogg took pictures with over 800 people at the event,”

“We had a tented area for seniors to sit in, and the first thing he did was go over to take pictures with everyone there.”

Xiomara Payan told NBC 4: “This is a very big help for not only myself, but for about a thousand people,”

Many Americans struggle to put food on the table and Snoops actions definitely made a difference for people in his community. Hats off to you Snoop!

Snoop also says he will be back next year and every year!

Who knows how next year will go down!
