Black Politicians, You Keep Forgetting You Are Not WHITE

Whenever I think of Mayor Ray Nagin. I always link him with hurricane Katrina. The African Americans in New Orleans are still being abused and taken advantage of in that city. Ray Nagin was appeared very heroic in his appeals to rescue his city. He forgot he was black.

Ray Nagin is on the front page in a New Orleans paper today. His attorney is trying to delay his sentencing. Oh, but the brother is going to jail. He forgot he was black.

Not WhiteHis wife has declared bankruptcy because of the overwhelming financial obligations. The court is asking him to repay over 500,000 dollars. The lawyer is saying he should not be the only one to repay the debt he had a partner. He forgot he was black.

Nagin was not the only one to benefit by the theft. He shot some business to his son. Is he going down too. I understand that he shared his ill gotten gains with the family. He forgot he was black.

Politics is a very dirty business, there is the combination of money and power. White folks have been negotiating the dance between money and power for a long time. Ray Nagin must have mistepped. He forgot he was black.

Whenever they show Charlie Rangel he looks like a shadow of his former self. He used to be loud and drawing a crowd. Remember there was an issue with money and the good Congressman. He forgot he was black.

He was working from the beach and got upset when he was disturbed. Additionally, there was an issue of other large property purchases. His colleagues took him to school. He forgot he was black.

Jessie Jr. ‘s case is just as sad as the other elected officials. Whether he is mentally ill or they paid a bunch of money for a couple of excellent psychiatrist to diagnose him as mentally ill, he went to jail.

Jessie Jr.’s extravagance was displayed by the media frequently. He and the wife lived a lavish lifestyle. Now, he has written three books while he has been in prison. He forgot he was black.

I am not sure how they get up in the morning look in the mirror and interface with their families and forget they are black.
