Police Won’t Release Information On 16-Year-Old Kentucky Girl Who Died In Police Custody

A 16 year old girl dies in a Kentucky jail cell last week whilst in Police custody. CBS reported: Gynnya McMillen was found unresponsive in the early hours of January 11. She was being kept at the Lincoln Village Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Elizabethtown.

Of course this is being investigated. However officials are being slow to release details needed for investigators to get to the bottom of what happened.

The first autopsy supposedly turned up no external signs such as bruising but things like a heart condition were also ruled out.

Pathology tests will have results in the next few weeks but already there is a facebook page demanding all information about the case is released.

The page can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/Justice-For-Gynnya-McMillen-1034398506624961/?pnref=story
