America is sending a terrible message to the citizens of this country and people of the world. The message is if you are willing to shoot and kill unarmed, black men, then you could be awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars for doing it.

In the case of Ferguson’s police officer, Darren Wilson, fatally shooting and killing unarmed, black teen, Michael Brown, this is exactly what is happening right now.

Darren Wilson SupportersSupporters and sympathizers of the officer have banded together to form two separate fundraising accounts in the name of the officer to raise money for the family, his defense and basically show their support for his dastardly deed.

The supporters claim they support the truth only and not race. They believe police officers have very dangerous jobs, but should be protected at all times despite the fact some of killing unarmed, black men.

The first GoFundMe.com account reached the goal of $234,000 for the officer. And a second one has more than $186,000 raised towards the goal of $250,000. This totals more than $400,000 in donations for the officer accused, by the public, of fatally shooting and killing the unarmed, black teen earlier this month.

Over 10,000 people have shown their support for the officer with their donations. These donations range anywhere from $10 to $500. Most of the donations are given anonymously, but not everyone. Some of the donations are given with the persons full first and last name.

And it is should be noted this $400,000 number doesn’t represent all of the donations given. The mailing address of Shield of Hope is given as well for people to mail in additional donations. We don’t know how much has been collected in this manner.

How does this make you feel?
