We Need Men To Step Up And Take The Lead

• Learn your history
• Teach it to your children to promote their heritage
• Educate or Die (Yourself and Your Children)
• Protect black women and children in your community
• Mentor when you can, who you can
• Remember, “The man they see is the man they’ll be”. Your children will remember your example long after they’ve forgotten our advice.
• Reconnect with your children
• Join group that promote Blackness, Black men and Black Families and participate – i.e., Real Men Cook, Million Father March, Black Wall Street Districts, etc.
• By all means, “Be The Change That You Want To See!”
We Need Women To Step Up And Support Black Men –
• Live your history! Remember that your Queens and descendants of Queens. Never allow anyone to fool you to relinquish your throne.
• Be the support, guidance and assistance that our men need to take back our community and return to raising our families.
• Promote your intelligence, your personalities, your talents. It’s nice that you have a body but just like looks, those fade and you will need to rely on something else. If you haven’t promoted the three above, you’ll be left with nothing and no one!!!
• Continue to nurture our children but allow more input and contact from their fathers. We didn’t use to be this way until 40 – 50 years ago. Even slavery couldn’t keep us apart. So let’s get busy putting our families back together.
• Require your sons to be men and your daughters to be ladies. If we all did this, no one would have talk about bad somebody else’s children are.
• Educate or Die!

• Don’t rush Adulthood
