An NFL defensive back who was visiting friends in North Carolina was kidnapped by gunmen according to an online police report. It’s not yet known if he was targeted or if it was random but he was released unharmed.
26-year-old Earl Wolff is a practice squad defensive back for the Jacksonville Jaguars. His alleged kidnap was broken by Fayetteville police spokesman Antoine Kincade who told the Fayetteville Observer that Wolff was into his Range Rover at gunpoint around 3am on Feb 23rd, in Fayetteville. Kincado sai that “We don’t know how long he was kidnapped,”.

Last Thursday a 21-year-old suspect was also arrested. Bobby Deshawn Bailey was arrested on kidnapping, gun and drug charges.
Tad Dickman, a spokesman for the Jaguars, also tweeted that Wolff was doing fine and asked the media to respect Wolff’s privacy.
