They say where their is smoke their is fire, but if not most certainly liars. And this is the news coming out of Hollywood this week about the Bill Cosby rape allegations.
In an interview with The Daily Caller, Johnson’s former manager and long time friend of Dickinson said both are lying on Cosby and completely fabricated their stories. Cosby’s reputation has been decimated throughout this ordeal, but he may have a chance at redemption.
Former Models Beverly Johnson and Janice Dickinson both claim to have had sexual encounters with Bill Cosby in the past without their concent after being drugged by TV’s greatest dad. Cosby has remained steadfast in his denials of the allegations, but media reports and rumors have run wild to discredit him.
New information recently suggest that Dickinson changed her story about Cosby and added the sexual assault allegations later. This totally discredits her story.
Don Gibble represented Johnson in the early 1990’s and spoke about his knowledge of the incident, shedding some important light on the matter.
In a VAnity Fair piece, Johnson claimed she was drugged with cappuccino at the home of Bill Cosby in the mid 1980s while she was auditioning for a role on the famous sitcom. Johnson eluded to being drugged and forcibly threw her into a cab.
However, Gibble says he remember Johnson telling him the Cosby story on a number of occasions. The tale involves one personal meeting at a brunch with Cosby and his wife Camille. Never did she mention being drugged, assaulted or thrown in a cab.
While speaking with the Daily Caller, Gibble made it very clear that he thought the ladies changed their stories, lied and are just trying to ruin Bill Cosby. However, he never tells why he believed they were do these things to Cosby.
“She said she had brunch with him and his wife, and it was a great experience. And then on ‘The View’ it flip-flopped,” Gibble said, referring to Johnson’s recent appearance on the daytime television program.
“It was odd to me that she changed her story. She said [she was] drugged and raped. I just remember that was not the conversation we had. And we had it repeatedly.”
“It was brunch. It was just one time. It was a typical nice pleasant experience,” Gibble said, echoing Johnson’s oft-repeated accounts. ”It can be easily proven that Camille Cosby was at that brunch, so it was kind of dumb for her to lie.”
Johnson “had brunch with him once and then they would run into each other at NAACP awards and premieres,” Gibble said.
As Gibble continues, he mentions Johnson even listed Cosby a Hollywood producer she had a good relationship with and hoped to work with more in the future.
“When I first met her in the early ’90s I had her make a list of all the producers she had a good experience with so I could call and get her in,” Gibbs said.
Johnson put Cosby on her list.
“Basically, she only had a good experience with him, so if he had been producing something at that time I could have easily called that office and gotten her an appointment.”
“It was ridiculous,” Gibble said, referring to watching Johnson change her story on “The View.” “I thought this was insane.”
