Stacey Dash went onto Fox And Friends and caused a bit of a backlash when talking about the #Oscarssowhite hashtag. She made the suggestion that the BET Awards and Black History Month should be cancelled!

Of course this would cause a backlash and of course if you make such statements you should accept such a thing. However Stacey seems to think she is in the right and is calling on Morgan Freeman as an example why she should get an apology!

She wrote a blog post titled “Twitter Haters, When Do I Get My Apology for Agreeing with Morgan Freeman about #BlackHistoryMonth?

” and posted:

“It’s time we decide as a society whether we want to care about race or not. Like Morgan Freeman says, there is no White History Month and there should be no Black History Month.

Basically, you can’t try and emotionally bring people to your side and demand an apology by bringing Morgan Freeman into the argument. You have to stand up for your own opinion and not deflect.

Personally I don’t know the context of Morgan’s comments but Stacey’s call is just making me laugh.

It’s ridiculous.
