Even After All The Co*ning: Trump Attacks HBCUs Saying Financing May Be Unconstitutional

When the leaders of the country’s HBCUs all shuffled into the white house for a damn photo op to try and make Trump look good the black community screamed and called out what now seems to be becoming the truth.

Trump seemingly wanted to the photo and not to help in the slightest and now he may be starting to show his true colors towards HBCUs after he has suggested that some financing may be unconstitutional.

On Friday Trump signed a statement that suggested that a 25 year old law that helps finance construction projects on HBCUs could be unconstitutional. The statement said that the Historically Black College and University Capital Financing Program as an example of a program “that allocate benefits on the basis of race, ethnicity, and gender.”

And that those programs would be treated by his administration “in a manner consistent with the requirement to afford equal protection of the law under the Due Process Clause of the Constitution’s Fifth Amendment.”’

So far everyone seems puzzled, the attack seemingly came from nowhere and no real reason!
