First allow me to say, I absolutely love #BlackTwitter. Might be the best corner on the internet outside of our website here. One reason it is such a wonderful place is because it NEVER allows racist and nonsense a pass. They call you out at every chance and they caught up another bold racist tweeting.

A Texas college student, Erika Escalante, went on an excursion picking cotton. But instead of just taken in the experience, she couldn’t hold back her inner racist and just had to post something ignorant that eventually got her fired from her job.

A short time later, the employer respnoded and fired Erika from her position with their company, not wanting to associate with nasty people like her.

Erika’s twitter handle is @Eri82185 where she posted pictures of her and a friend picking cotton with the caption: “Our inner ni**er came out today.”

#BlackTwitter identified her name as Erika Escalante, a student at Chandler-Gilbert Community College in Chandler, AZ. Obviously, many of them fired back at her displaying their displeasure in her tweet, but one person, @XLNB, decided to let her job know about her ignorance.

Many thanked the company for their swift response to this nonsense. Hopefully, EVERY DAMN TIME black people come across racial bigotry, they will respond by not turning the other cheek, but raise hell and get these people fired from their jobs or pay a financial price.

It is the only way to get respect in this country and let people know you cannot continue to do this to us and get away with it.

OUTSTANDING WORK, #BlackTwitter and please continue to hold these racist feet to the fire with their internal ignorance take over their rational thinking.
