The Baton Rouge Police Department have only killed black men since June 2015.

This information is according to Counted, a project by the Guardian newspaper that tracks officer-related deaths in the U.S over the past two years.

Alton Sterling, 37, was the latest victim after he was shot two times after being wrestled the to ground. He was shot multiple times in the chest and back.

Three black men including Alton have been shot since June 2015 in a city that is less than half black (45%).

The other men were Kevin Bajoie, 32, and Calvin Smith, 22.
