Recently, in 2013, the United States Supreme court reversed section four of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Section four of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 stipulated protections to prevent voter discrimination in certain US states and/or localities who are/or where known to disenfranchise individuals attempting to vote.
