I’m not sure how many of you are familiar with the story of Chris Heben, the Ex-Navy Seal that came to fame and stardom after surviving an attacked by what he deemed to be “3 black Islamic gang members.” Apparently Mr. Heben was shot in the stomach in Bath, Ohio by these gang members who were upset that he was a veteran and that he was white. Apparently the first opportunity they got they shot him in the stomach to teach him some respect. After being shot he allegedly plugged the holes and chased after them until he was almost unconscious at which time he abandoned the chase a stumbled into a fire department that was conveniently close by.
His story made him a symbol for the plight of the white man in America, he became an overnight sensation scoring scores of interviews, launching businesses, and becoming a motivational speaker. He quickly became an unofficial NRA spokesperson and a new mythological feature for many white conservative extremist.
Big problem though, NONE OF IT SEEMS TO HAVE HAPPENED.
While he was shot, it seems that the entire story surrounding the shooting is completely false. The police have found zero leads, zero matching descriptions, zero weapons, and zero witnesses. To be clear they have found enough evidence to file charges of falsification of evidence but no evidence to verify his story.

Interesting that this story finds light around the same day that we found out that Ex-Marine Ronnie Ritchie Fabricated his story that caused the death of 2 people in a Walmart in Ohio (John Crawford III). While it is true that Mr. Heben was actually a Navy Seal that did 10 years in the military, we have to wonder what the interpretation is going to be if this rash of lying for profit and death continues from people that claim veteran status as a source of credibility. As a Veteran myself it sickens me to see it, but like people always talk about Florida and its elections, I guess now we can begin to talk about Ohio and its veterans. The question must also be asked, why isn’t this mainstream news along with the Ronnie Ritchie story instead of a stories from 2 months ago?
What do you think about this story?
