Leah Still will be eight years old this coming May.

As everyone knows by now, Little Miss Leah has been dealing with neuroblastoma, a cancer diagnosis she received at the age of four.

This month, Urban Intellectuals went to find out how the young lady has been progressing in her treatment. We caught up with her father on Instagram. Yeah … Miss “Thang” is “whipping her hair” these days, with nothing on it except her pretty pink headband.

Says her father: “stillinthegame – ‘Can’t believe in 10 days Leah will be 3 Years in remission! Just 2 more years and she will officially be cancer free. Let’s go girl! We are going to celebrate by raising a ton of money at our gala on March 24 for the families out there still in the fight!’ ”

Miss Leah, you cannot even begin to imagine what an inspiration you are to children and adults out here battling cancer, and as you say, girlfriend, BEAT IT UP! And keep whipping that hair!
